IMEI - abbreviation from the English "International Mobile Equipment Identity" - an international mobile identification number. This is a special combination of fifteen digits, which is set personally for each mobile communication device.

However, the device can be used when connecting to another mobile network or in another region.

Can IMEI be changed?

In old models of apparatus, the Code of the II could be changed using special terminal programs. But at the moment, the degree of protection of IMEI has increased many times, and code change is almost impossible in most modern models.
